How to Build an Under the Bed Shoe Organizer
A large collection of shoes can become an unsightly mess at the bottom of your closet. Even a proper shoe organizer can take up some much-needed space at the bottom of your closet. - Plastic under-the-bed storage bin with wheels and lid
- Spring-loaded drawer dividers

Purchase a plastic under-the-bed storage bin with wheels from a home goods store such as Target or Walmart. The length and height of the bin aren't as important as the width, the bin should be no wider than 18 inches. It should come with a lid that opens from both ends.

Purchase spring-loaded drawer dividers. You will need four to five per storage bin. The dividers should expand to at least 18 inches.

Collect your shoes and place them into the storage bin, pairing shoes together, parallel to the width. Determine how many pairs you can easily fit.

Remove the shoes.

Evenly place the drawer dividers into the storage bin. Replace the pairs of shoes, one in each sectioned drawer.

Place the lid on the storage bin and roll underneath your bed.

Place your most-used shoes toward the front of the bin for quick, easy access.
