1. Talk with your boyfriend about life, what your dreams and goals are. Talk about children, and how many children you wish to have. Drop hints that you have to be married first to have children.

2. Take him to a mall, and look at different diamond rings. (Hint: Don't show them the 3 Karat diamonds $$$ but something moderate.) Tell him "Wow, when I get married, I'd love a ring like that".

3. Go through a department store and look at a few wedding like items. Show him things that you would like to get one day when you are married.

4. Tell him what you would like if you ever got married in a wedding. Remember most guys think $$$. Let him know that you are not interested in a huge ceremony but would love a fun reception. Tell how cheap you can find dresses. (Remember guys would be happy getting married in a T-Shirt and shorts).

5. Ask him if he loves you enough to spend the rest of his life with you, or if his love is still growing.

6. The last step is to tell him directly that you love him enough to spend the rest of your life with him and that you are ready to get married whenever he is. Let him know that you want it to be when HE is ready, that way you are not directly asking.
