How to Download Google Chrome

Google Chrome, which was released in 2008, has become one of the most widely used applications for surfing the Internet. This Web browser features a simple user interface that includes a URL bar, a reload button, back and forward buttons and tabs for opening multiple websites. Download and install Chrome from Google.com.

Instructions

1. Open any Web browser on your computer.

2. Go to the Google Chrome Web page, http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95346.

3. Click the "Download Google Chrome" button.

4. Agree to the Google Chrome license agreement by clicking the "Accept and Install" button. Your computer will automatically download and install Google Chrome.

5. Choose a default search engine for Google Chrome on the "Welcome to Google Chrome" dialog box. Google Chrome will automatically open now.

Tips & Warnings

• You can open Google Chrome manually by double-clicking the "Google Chrome" icon on the desktop.
