How to Remove Skype Contacts

Skype is a cross-platform instant messaging program that allows you to send and receive instant texts and perform video conferences with family and friends all over the world. It allows you to save as many contacts as you want, but you also have the ability temporarily to block a contact or delete it if you no longer have interest in communication. This process is simple and takes seconds to complete.

Instructions

1. Log on to Skype using your screen name and password. You should see the contact list on the left panel.

2. Scroll through the contact list and right-click the contact you want to remove. A pop-up menu opens up. For Mac users, press and hold "Ctrl" as you click the contact you want to remove. A pop-up menu opens.

3. Scroll down the pop-up menu and click "Block this person" if you want to temporary disable the contact from contacting you. Click "Remove this contact" if you want to get rid of the contact completely. Click "Remove" on the confirmation window. Repeat the same process to remove additional contacts.
