The first thing you need to do is go shopping for the items you need to make them with. Everything you need can be found at your local beauty store. I recommend going to Sallys Beauty Supply. Get a pack of human hair extensions in blond, 1 or 2 bottles of dye in the colors you want, and extension clips.

The pack of hair comes in a weft so you need to cut out the sizes you want. You should make them about the same width as your hair extension clips. Once you've cut them to desired length, stretch them out on a table surface with newspaper under them to prevent dye from getting on anything. Take a large paint brush and begin brushing your stripes on with the dye. Let them dry for at least half an hour, rinse any excess dye off, then let them dry once again.

Once they are completely dry its time to sew on your hair clips. You can do this with a strong piece of thread and a needle. Sew them on tight enough to stay in place and your extensions are ready to be worn.
