How to Find a Song by Title
With all of the various styles and genres of music available today, it can be overwhelming to find a particular song. If you know the title of a song and hope to find out more information about it (such as the artist or songwriter), it can be done easily thanks to several internet sites. Three of the best sites to search for a song by title are whoditty.com, lyricsmania.com, and lyrster.com.

Search lyricsmania.com, which allows you to look for a song by soundtrack, artist and song title. Switch the search option to "Song Title" and press search. Visit lyrster.com. This site allows you to search for a song based only on a set of words that you know. Type those words into its search space and press "Find my Song" and Lyrster.com will then perform a Google custom search for lyrics containing those words. Since Lyrster's search is based on word phrases, it may find your song even if you were mistaken about the title. For example, the title of the song "For What It's Worth" is probably less recognizable than its chorus "Stop, children, what's that sound, everybody look what's going down." Typing that phrase into Lyrster will turn up the correct title.
