1
Unhook the catches located on the top and bottom of the front and back walls of your folded Coleman Camp Oven.
-
2
Place your hands on top of the front and back walls and pull your oven open to form a box. Drop the bottom, located at the inside back of the oven bottom hinged to the back wall, into place. Make certain that the four tabs completely fit into the tab openings and latch into place.
-
-
3
Grasp the handle attached to the oven's hinged top located inside the oven behind the front wall. Pull the top up and away from the wall. Fit the tabs into place and then latch at the top of the back wall.
-
4
Open your Coleman Camp Oven's door and remove the oven rack from the bottom. When you remove the rack, the bars should run horizontal.
-
5
Turn the rack so that the bars run vertical and reinsert into the oven into the top, middle or bottom slots on the side walls as you would if placing a rack into a kitchen oven or refrigerator. Close and lock the door.
-
6
Lift your Coleman Camp Oven by its top handle and sides and center on the master burner of your two- or three-burner full-sized camp stove. Follow the instructions for your full-sized camp stove to turn on and slowly preheat the oven.
-
7
Unlock the oven door after the oven has preheated and, with gloves or a potholder, open it and place your food inside in the center away from the walls.

Tips & Warnings
Cook canned food inside your Coleman Camp Oven by removing the outside label and any glue, opening the canned food top (to release steam) and placing inside the oven on the rack.
Always use your Coleman camp stove's windbreaker or position the stove/oven in a nonwindy location when in use as wind lowers the heating efficiency of your Coleman camp oven. Never use baking pans larger than 8 inches in diameter or squared to keep from blocking circulation in the oven. The oven's size when unfolded measures only 12 by 12 by 12 inches in length, height and width. Always use a full-sized Coleman camp stove with your camp oven; smaller stoves don't heat enough to fully cook food.
