How to Make a Fragrance Diffuser Refill
Fragrance diffusers are a decorative and natural method of adding a pleasant aroma to a room. The most popular of these items is the reed fragrance diffuser. This simple set-up consists of a glass vase, scented oil and thin reeds. The oil is poured into the vase and then reeds are added. The oil slowly soaks in and up the reeds and evaporates, leaving a fragrance behind. All you need to refill your reed diffuser is some new fragrant oil blends.

Tips & Warnings
When it comes to fragrant oils, you can choose between essential and scented oils. Essential oils are natural, strong and expensive. Scented oils are synthetic, weak and cheap. True aromatherapy always uses essential oils, but beginners can start with scented oils. If you're looking for a fragrance diffuser refill with a more home-oriented scent, replace the scented oils listed above with 8 drops apple scented oil, 5 drops cinnamon scented oil, 4 drops vanilla scented oil and 2 drops lemon scented oil.
Remember you're dealing with oils when you make your refill. Be careful about spilling or smearing any of the oils on your clothes or furnishings. Once you're done mixing your refill, wash your hands well before touching fabric, pets or your own skin. If you're reed fragrance diffuser doesn't seem to be working, you may need to replace the reeds. They get old and gunked up with oil over time. Just buy a few new reeds at a local craft store.
