How to Enable HD for Youtube

This article will show you how to watch Youtube in HD quality by modifying your Youtube settings. Youtube has a lot of content in HD format. HD means you will be watching videos in a higher image quality than normal.

Things You'll Need:

• Broadband Internet Connection
• Youtube membership

1. Click on the Youtube Account Setup link from Resources below . You will be asked to log in to your account.

2. If you don't have a Youtube account, click on the "Youtube Signup" link from the resources section below. Follow the screen to finish signing up your account.

3. After you log in, you will be automatically redirected to the account set up page. Click on "Playback Setup" link from the left hand menu.

4. Click on the radio button that says: "I have a fast connection. Always play higher-quality video when it's available." Click "Save Changes" button.

5. Enjoy. If a video is available in HD format, it will automatically play n the higher quality from now on.

Tips & Warnings

• You have to remained signed in to your account for automatic HD playback to work.
• Not all videos are available in HD quality
• You will need a broadband connection to get a seamless experience with HD videos.
