1
Pick the perfect eyeshadows.
The first step to making your eye color pop is to pick the right shadows. Here's a guide according to eye color:Blue- 1)blues, 2)light brown, and 3)coffee colors; light pencil liner
Brown- 1)purples, 2)brown, and 3)chocolate colors; Medium pencil/liquid liner
Green- 1)jade, 2)violet, and 3)green; light pencil liner
Hazel- pink, black, and toffee; Dark liquid linerFor the first eyeshadow color 1), choose a dark shade. For eyeshadow 2), choose a medium shade. For eyeshadow 3), choose a lighter shade.
See the color wheel above for more options. Pick the color group closest to your eye color. The eye color group opposite of your eye color group are the best colors to make your eye pop. For example, if your eye color was orange, the shadows to best compliment it would be blue, powder blue, or midnight blue.

Prepare your face.
First, you need to apply any other makeup you may be using. Save your eyes, lips, and blush (optional) for last. Remember, keep everything else subtle, the focus should be on your eye color. -

3
Apply eyeshadow.
First, apply your eyeliner (see step 1) as close to the lash line as possible. I would recommend also applying the eye liner on the bottom lashes for an extra effect. Next apply eyeshadow 1) to the outer corner of your eye. Apply eyeshadow 2) to the inner corner of your eye. Blend well. Apply the lightest shadow 3) underneath the brow. Blend Re-apply eyeliner if the shadow has covered it. Keep your lip neutral/nude/sheer and let your eyes have all the attention. There you have it! An eye color that pops!
