How to Get Free Ballroom Dance Lessons

Ballroom dancing is a fun hobby and date activity. Lessons, however, are very expensive--unless you try the following ideas to get free ballroom dance lessons!

1. If you can learn on your own, watch ballroom dance lesson and performance videos online, such as on YouTube or Facebook. Do a google search to find free ballroom dance videos. Another option is to go to a bookstore and find a book or DVD that teaches ballroom dance.

2. Call your local ballroom dance studio and ask if they have a guest night where they teach free lessons. Ask what other promotional offers are available, such as a free half-hour lesson.

3. Find out if your community or local college has a free ballroom dance club or classes. Even if not free, it will be cheaper than paying for lessons at a professional dance studio.

4. Attend nightclubs and social events that teach free ballroom dance lessons before opening the floor to general dancing. Make it a date night!

5. If you have friends who know how to ballroom dance, ask them to teach you for free or in exchange for a service. Most people love to share what they know and help others learn something fun.
