How to Operate a Crosley Refrigerator
The Crosley Corporation manufactures several models of refrigerators for home use. Though the features on each Crosley refrigerator model are different, the basic operations of each are similar. The temperature inside the refrigerator and freezer is controlled with control knobs located inside the refrigerator. You may find that setting your optimal temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer may take some trial and error, but once it is set, your Crosley refrigerator will keep your food cold and fresh. Plug the power cord into a power outlet. The power outlet should be dedicated to only the refrigerator. You risk blowing a fuse or tripping a circuit if you plug other devices into the power outlet.

Let the refrigerator sit for at least 8 hours with the doors closed. The temperature controls are set at mid-level when the refrigerators are shipped from the factory. The refrigerator should be given time to cool down before food is stored.

Turn the refrigerator and freezer control knobs to the right to make the refrigerator and the freezer colder. Wait at least 24 hours for the temperature in the refrigerator to stabilize before making another change.

Lower the temperature of the refrigerator and the freezer by turning the temperature control knobs to the left. Allow 24 hours to pass before making another adjustment to the temperature as the refrigerator's temperature needs to stabilize.
