Are you struggling to keep track of how many calories you are eating on a daily basis? Do you really want to know how many calories you are about to take in from a plate of food at a strange restaurant? Use this neat little application to keep track of what you've eaten and find out about what you are going to.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Motorola Droid
  1. Step 1

    Turn on your Motorola Droid by pressing the Power/Unlock button at the right side of the top corner.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the Android Market Icon on your home screen. If you have removed the icon from your home screen it can be found by sliding up the applications tab found at the bottom or right side of any of the home screens.

  3. Step 3

    Click the search icon located near the top portion of the screen in the main screen of the Android Market.

  4. Step 4

    Type in "Calorie Counter" to find the Calorie Counter application from FatSecret.

  5. Step 5

    Click on the application Calorie Counter.

  6. Step 6

    In the preview page for Calorie Counter, find and click on the "Install" button.

  7. Step 7

    Click "OK" at the confirmation and permissions page.

  8. Step 8

    Wait a few seconds or watch the top notification bar for confrimation that your Calorie Counter application has been successfully downloaded.

  9. Step 9

    Touch and slide up the gray applications tab at the bottom of the screen.

  10. Step 10

    Find the Calorie Counter application icon and click on it.

  11. Step 11

    Begin tracking calories by entering in what you eat in the "Food Diary" category. That's it!

Tips & Warnings
  • Besides tracking calories, Calorie Counter can give you important caloric and nutrient values of foods available in your local supermarket, restaurant, and even popular brands in your kitchen.
  • Try using the "Barcode Scanner" on any food item in your kitchen that has a barcode. It will instantly give you caloric and nutrient values of the food item and even tell you what the "Weight Watchers" value of the given food item is. It's pretty amazing!
  • Calorie Counter also includes an Exercise Diary and Weight Tracker program. Use them all to create the most effective weight loss or diet program for yourself.
