How to Color Asian Hair Brown
If you have dark brown or black hair, you might already know that lightening it is a risky job if you don't want to spend more money at a salon. If you have Asian hair and you want to lighten it, you may have a hard time if you use a bleaching dye and end up turning your hair an undesired color such as orange, or it might not even work at all and you will just end up damaging your hair. A way around this is buying a dye especially made for Asian hair types. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Purchase the Palty brand hair color dye of your choice. This brand is only sold in Japan or in Japanese stores, but you can also search on the Internet for sellers. If your hair is long, thick and black, you will need two boxes.
-
2
Wrap a towel around your shoulders or wear a shirt that you won't mind getting messy. Lay down newspaper around your work area.
-
-
3
Squeeze the tube into the bottle of liquid. The tube will have a number "1" on it and the bottle is number "2." Screw the lid back on tight and mix it well by shaking the bottle vigorously for about 15 seconds.
-
4
Put on the plastic gloves that came with the dying kit. Take off the lid of the bottle and replace it with the comb applicator. Keep the opening away from your face.
-
5
Apply the dye starting at the bottom of the hair, working your way up and massaging it in as you go. Try to keep it off of your scalp. Set the timer for 20 minutes.
-
6
Rinse off a small section on the bottom to see if it has reached the desired color. If it isn't quite there yet, wait another 10 to 20 minutes. Remember, hair always looks a little darker when it is wet.
-
7
Shampoo and condition your hair when you rinse out the dye, and leave the conditioner in your hair for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly. If you need to dye your hair again, wait at least 2 weeks to let your hair rest.
