How to Download the FEAR Game Demo for PC

F.E.A.R. is a first person shooter game for the PC that was later released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles. Although the full game of F.E.A.R. must be purchased, like many PC games, F.E.A.R. has a downloadable single player demo to allow players to test the game. Downloading the F.E.A.R. demo is a simple process but the download time will be long for those without a broadband Internet connection.

Instructions

1. Open your Internet browser.

2. Go to "http://www.filefront.com/3992509/F.E.A.R.-Singleplayer-Demo/." This page lists basic information about the F.E.A.R. demo that you can review before downloading.

3. Click on "Download Now" at the bottom of the page and wait a few moments for a download box to appear. If the download box does not appear after 10 seconds, click the link on the next page that says "Click Here To Try Again."

4. Choose to save the file in the download box that opened. It may take several seconds before you can click on the "Save" option.

5. Keep the download box open until the demo is done downloading. If you close the download box or your browser during downloading, the download may be aborted.

Tips & Warnings

After downloading the demo, you will have to run the setup file to install the game and run the demo. The demo is 646.67 megabytes.
