White pages are an excellent tool for finding information on people free of charge. The easiest and most efficient way to use the white pages is on the internet. There are several reliable sites available that provide normal search services as well as reverse lookup. Users can find people, businesses, addresses, phone numbers and postal codes with a web browser. Follow the steps below to find information on just about anybody.

Instructions

1. Log on to the internet. Use your home computer or log on at your local library.

2. Type in the address of the white pages site you wish to use. Whitepage.com is the most popular site for finding information, but 411.com and YellowPages.com also are useful.

3. Enter the first and last name of the person for which you are searching. Be sure to use the correct spelling and suffixes such as Jr. or III.

4. Enter the city and state. As many people have the same name, entering the correct state of residence will significantly help you narrow down your search. If you are not sure about the correct state, try multiple searches in different states.
