How to Cover Up Razor Bumps

When going to the beach, a woman doesn't want to have to worry about redness or irritation along her bikini line. Also, a man wants to look smooth and clean for a fancy party rather than bumpy and itchy. However, razor bumps are a common problem, especially for people with thick, curly hair. And while it would be nice to be able to cover up such imperfections, the best way to make them go away is to prevent them from occurring. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

  1. Shave Safe

    • 1

Open a new razor blade, preferably every one to two weeks, to prevent any bacteria from infecting the shaving area.

    • 2

Pour some rubbing alcohol on a washcloth and clean the razor blade before use. This further prevents bacteria buildup, which can lead to infection.

    • 3

While shaving, always use shaving lotion and warm water to soften the area. Shaving lotion is better to use than soap, which tends to dry out skin.

    • 4

When done shaving, clean the blade again with a washcloth and rubbing alcohol to remove bacteria from the razor.

    • 5

Once the shaving area is dry, use cotton balls to apply Tend Skin Liquid to reduce the sight of razor bumps, ingrown hairs and razor burn. If there are any open cuts on the skin, it will burn for a second or two. The results are excellent.

Tips & Warnings

  • From personal experience, I find Tend Skin Liquid to be the best answer for my ingrown hairs. After applying, I also sometimes use lotion or baby powder to further take care of my skin.
