Treat the skin with castor oil. Castor oil is a highly purgative oil that is commonly used for detoxing and cleansing the skin. Castor oil can be massaged into the skin, followed by placing a steaming cloth on the skin to open up the pores and to draw out impurities. Castor oil can be drying, so adding a small amount of olive oil to the castor oil can prevent the skin from becoming too dry.

Treat the skin with jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is a versatile oil that is found in creams, lotions, perfume oils and salves. Jojoba oil is beneficial for cleaning and healing the skin, and it is especially helpful for acne-prone or sensitive skin. Jojoba oil can be used on the skin in replacement of a lotion or moisturizer to help acne-prone skin stay soft and smooth without breaking out.

Treat the skin with almond oil. Almond oil is produced by pressing raw almonds, much the same way that olive oil is produced by pressing olives. Almond oil is frequently used in the production of natural soaps and moisturizers, and is very nutrient-rich. Using almond oil on the skin can help the skin receive vitamin E, as this vitamin is high in almonds.

Treat the skin with peanut oil. Peanut oil is a very emollient oil that is helpful for especially dry skin types, and it can help the skin retain moisture. Peanut oil used for skin must be 100% pure peanut oil, without any added ingredients or flavorings. When purchasing peanut oil for use on the skin, look for it in the personal hygiene section of the store.
