Things You'll Need:
- Xbox 360
- Phillips-tip screwdriver (1/8 or 3/8 inch)
- Torx screwdriver (3/16 inch)
- Xecuter 2.6 LITE modchip

Step 1
Remove the UPC sticker from the back of your Xbox to access the Torx screws.

Open the Xbox case by removing all six Torx screws.

Using the Torx screwdriver and Phillips, unscrew the DVD player and hard drive, placing them to the side. You do not need to remove the IDE or power cables.

Step 4
With the motherboard exposed, locate the BIOS chip. This is located next to the fan and processor and will be labeled "BIOS 687-XX-XXX-XXXX."

Step 5
Use the Phillips to pry out the BIOS chip gently.

Step 6
Plug the Xecuter 2.6 LITE into the slot where the BIOS chip was just removed.

Step 7
Carefully replace the DVD player and hard drive.

Step 8
Close the Xbox casing and replace all six screws.
