If your customers live within walking distance of a store, you might not even need a car to deliver groceries, though in that case you would need a cart.

Advertise your service and search for clients. You can post or distribute fliers or post online (at CraigsList, for example) detailing your ability to deliver groceries and how much you charge. You can also try to network through word of mouth.
