      Make sure your computer has a wireless Internet card, either built in or as a plug-in adapter. This allows your computer to pick up the signals being sent and received by your wireless Dish Network router and connect to the Internet. If you have a laptop purchased in the last few years it will most likely have a wireless card inside. Usually only newer desktop computers come with these cards installed.

      Click on the "Start" menu on the lower-left side of your Windows computer's desktop. Select the "Network" option from the list that appears.

      Right-click on the icon that represents your wireless networking card. Select the option that reads "View All Wireless Networks."

      Select your Dish Network Wi-Fi network from the list of available wireless networks. Click on its name and select the "Connect" button from the lower right-hand corner of the window.

      Open your web browser and type in any web address you can think of. If the page loads successfully, you are connected to your Dish Network Wi-Fi.
