Make More Money from eHow

eHow is a wonderful place to share your knowledge. Are you wondering how you can make more money sharing that knowledge at eHow? eHow is an article directory. That means eHow gets noticed with search engines and wants articles from you in your personal area of expertise, or niche.

Demand Studios also has contributing writers that research and write professional articles for the eHow article directory. But, that isn't what eHow is looking for from it's users. eHow wants to pay it's users to write articles about things they know well. Why do they want to do this? Because eHow knows that their users are experts in everyday life. There is nothing better than an eHow article written by someone that has repeatedly and successfully performed the task. Writing about your expertise, is how you, as an eHow users, can make more money from your eHow articles.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Keywords

There is one critical factor in article writing every writer should know. That factor is keywords. I am not talking about keyword stuffing or SEO, eHow actually discourages that from it's users. I am talking about writing a title and article that people can find.

Choose a few keywords that apply to your article. For example, if your article is about how to relax and enjoy your backyard, there are several phrases that might apply to your article, "Landscaping Your Backyard to Make It More Enjoyable," "Enjoying the Natural Elements of the Outdoors," or "Birdwatching in Southern Oklahoma," are all viable options for a title. You must select words in your title that describe your article. Don't title it "Birdwatching in Southern Oklahoma" and write the article repeating the keywords "Landscaping Your Backyard to Make It More Enjoyable."

You must stay focused on what your article is about and title it using the same keywords that are used throughout the article. It is also a good idea to make sure the keywords in your title are used in the first paragraph of your article.

You can use search engine tools to find keyword that internet users are looking for, but before you do this I would caution you not to write articles outside your expertise simply because they will get a lot of traffic.

  2. Step 2

    Write What You Know

eHow wants user articles that are full of expert details, not researched facts. That is why they have implemented the "I Did This" section of eHow. eHow is a community based on personal experience. By the way, eHow does not officially pay you for the traffic to your "I Did This" experiences. But, I can tell you that writing them will magically boost your overall monthly earnings and allow you to make more money from your eHow articles.

  3. Step 3

    Take Lots of Pictures

Pictures show people you are indeed an expert and you have actually performed the task you are writing about. It adds credibility to your writing and makes it more valuable than any well-researched and written tutorial from a non-expert. ;) Place the pictures in your article and use them to write "I Did This" explanations.
