Instructions

    • 1

Pour two to three cups of powdered milk, one cup of powdered honey and, if you wish, one cup sea salt into a large stainless steel or glass mixing bowl.

    • 2

Using a large stainless steel or wooden mixing spoon, stir the dry ingredients together and add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix thoroughly.

    • 3

Pour the milk and honey powder into a large, covered glass jar and store it a cool, dry place or in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to three months.

    • 4

For your bath, pour two cups of milk and honey powder into warm, running water.

    • 5

After soaking in your bath, pour some organic oat bran into a cotton washcloth and rub all over your body to slough off any dry, dead skin. Rinse thoroughly.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always use whole milk or buttermilk powder instead of non-fat dry milk powder. To get the real benefits of this bath, you need the fat. Powdered is best. If you use whole milk, you'll need more of it (two to three cups for every cup of powdered) because it's not concentrated like the powdered version.

  • Use stainless steel or glass bowls and stainless steel or wood mixing spoons. Aluminum and plastic can contaminate your milk and honey powder. Make sure the powdered honey is 100 percent pure honey powder, containing no other additives.
