How to Connect 1 Security Camera to 3 Monitors
Connecting a security camera to three monitors will enable you to conduct surveillance from different locations, depending on where you place the monitors. The connections only take a few minutes if you buy cables in advance and follow these steps.
Things You'll Need
- Security camera
- 3 video monitors
- 3 RCA-type video cables
- 4-way video RCA switch splitter

Disconnect all equipment from the power source before making the connections.

Plug one end of an RCA video cable into the Video Out jack of the security camera.

Plug the other end of the cable into the Input jack of a four-way RCA video splitter Note: only three monitors will be connected using these instructions, but you will have a jack for a fourth monitor if you choose to add one later.

Plug 3 RCA video cables into video Output jacks on the back of the video splitter.

Plug the other ends of the three cables into the video jacks on the back of each monitor.

Plug in the equipment to a power supply and turn on the camera and monitors.

Toggle among the three monitors by turning the video selector knob between 1, 2, and 3 to view the camera feed. You can connect a fourth monitor at a later time, if desired, using the same connections.
