Step 1
TV HDMI port.Plug the HDMI connector of the cable into the HDMI port of your TV.

DVI portInsert the DVI connector of the cable into the computer DVI port.

Tune up your TV on the HDMI channel.

On a Windows Vista computer, right-click on Desktop and choose "Personalize." Then click "Display Settings." You will see two icons denoted as "1" and "2" that correspond to two monitors.

Click on the icon "2." Check the box "Extend the desktop onto this monitor" and click "OK." The computer desktop will appear on your TV in one to three seconds.
