How to Get Free Music for your iPod from YouTube

You've watched a music video on YouTube and you'd like to put the music on your iPod. Here's an easy, free way to do it.

Things You'll Need:

• iPod
• Web Browser

1. There are several sites on the web you can use to download a music video from YouTube, convert it to mp3 audio, and then transfer the music to your computer. Two of the sites are:
   http://www.zamzar.com/
   and
   http://keepvid.com/

2. First, copy the url of the YouTube video you want to convert. Next, paste the url in the appropriate box on zamzar or keepvid. Then choose the conversion you want - mp3 for audio. Follow the directions to get the download, and put the file into iTunes. The next time you sync your iPod, the music will be there.

3. If you have a video iPod, you may choose the mp4 conversion, in which case you will be able to download the video to iTunes. When you sync your iPod, the video will be there. Generally, however, the video quality isn't the best, but the music is good quality.

Tips & Warnings

• You may search for other sites which allow you to download YouTube videos. New sites are always popping up. I've just included two examples here.
