How to Change a WMA File to an MP3 File
Microsoft's Windows Media Player uses the Windows Media Audio (WMA) file format as its proprietary file container for music files. WMAs work well on Microsoft devices like the Zune and in Windows programs, but they lack compatibility with many other audio programs, including Apple iTunes.
