How to Make a Lavender Wreath
The scent of lavender is calming, soothing, and relaxing. Lavender flowers also make a beautiful purple wreath. If you grow lavender you can harvest the sprigs from your own garden, or purchase them to make a lavender wreath. Does this Spark an idea?

Cut sprigs of lavender 2 inches above the woody part of the stem.

Hang the lavender by the stems to dry.

Cover a wreath form with Spanish moss using a glue gun.

After the lavender is fully dry (at least a week), bunch the dried lavender by the stem. You should work with bunches approximately 1 inch around at the stems. Even the blossoms to get them at approximately the same height. Cut the stems down to 2 inches.

Secure the bunch of lavender to the wreath, by wrapping twice around the stems with wire.

Work your way around the wreath placing the flowers over the stems of the lavender that you just secured to the wreath. Do this until the wreath is completely covered with lavender sprigs. Tuck the stems of the last group of lavender under the flowers of the first group of lavender that you secured to the wreath.

Use your wire to secure a loop for hanging on the back of the wreath.
