Make sure the Sanyo appliance is connected to a reliable electrical outlet if you notice that the screen is flickering or if the television turns off suddenly. Avoid using extension cords, as they may deliver faltering levels of power.

    • 2

Check that the device's tuner is connected to your television antenna or cable outlet if you experience image quality problems or cannot find your favorite TV channel. The analog and digital antenna jack is found on the back of the Sanyo television. Make sure the cord is securely connected. Turn the bolt at the end of the cord to ensure it is tightened.

Verify that you have correctly connected any extraneous appliances, such as DVD players or video game consoles, if you have difficulty using them with the Sanyo TV. The stereo audio jacks are found on the right-hand side on the back of the TV, while the video input ports are found on the left-hand side. A common mistake is plugging the video input cords for a device into the wrong ports. Check that it is correct by making sure that each color-coded cable is in the proper port (e.g., the yellow video cable is in the yellow port).

Check your Sanyo TV's software settings if you have trouble with digital captioning, language settings or the V-chip service. Press "Menu" on the Sanyo TV's included remote control, or push the same button on the front of the TV. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure the TV's internal firmware.
