How to Install Windshields
Installing a windshield is essentially the opposite of the process to remove it. However, there are some key steps that you need to be aware of while installing windshields. You must be especially careful of the new glass so that you don't scratch it or nick the edges. You also need to be aware that automotive glass requires an agent to help bond the glass to the frame of the vehicle.

2
Apply a bead of urethane to the frame. Make sure that you apply an even bead of urethane. To do this, it's best to use a caulk gun.
