How to Send Pictures From Hotmail to a Cell Phone

Hotmail.com is a popular e-mailing program used by millions of e-mailers around the world. Using Hotmail you can send a picture to your cell phone as an attachment to an e-mail. When sending e-mails from your Hotmail account, you can select any pictures uploaded to your computer or found online, and you can transfer them to your phone for use as wallpapers or for showing off.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open your Internet browser and access your Hotmail home page.

  2. Step 2

    Click the "Mail" tab on the left side of the page and click "New" to compose a new message.

  3. Step 3

    Enter a subject a click the "Attach" tab on the menu bar.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Browse" to search your computer's library for a picture you would like to send to your cell phone. Click on the picture and click "Open" to attach the file to the e-mail.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the e-mail address of the cellular phone you would like to send your pictures to into the "To" field. Use the link in the Resources section to find the e-mail address of your phone, which includes your 10-digit phone number. For Alltel, simply enter your address as follows, with your phone number substituted: 5551234567@alltelmessage.com. Other providers use a similar method.

  6. Step 6

    Click "Send."
