You can change both window color and font size in your display's Appearance settings.

Most of your Windows XP computer's settings can be changed through the Control Panel. Here you'll find options to change how your computer looks and functions. The Display settings control the size of the font that appears along the tops of windows, and its advanced settings have options for changing font type, size and color.

Instructions

      Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."

      Click "Display" and select the "Appearance" tab.

      Choose "Normal," "Large Fonts" or "Extra Large Fonts" from the "Font Size" pull-down menu. Click "OK."

      Return to the Appearance tab of the Display control panel. Click "Advanced."

      Choose an item, such as Active Title Bar or Message Box, from the "Item" pull-down menu.

      Adjust the font size from the pull-down menu to its right. Click "OK."

Tips & Warnings

  • You can change back and forth between font sizes until you find one that fits with your requirements.
