1. Clean it up:
   First you're going to need to clean up the spot. Using good old soap and water and lots of elbow grease. After cleaning you will need to let it dry completely before you even think about rolling up the windows and closing the car. 2. Get rid of vomit odor:

3. Remove sour milk odor:
   After a few days of being spilled in your car the sour smell of milk or infant formula can be awful! Try sprinkling some baking soda on the spot and leave it set overnight before scrubbing the spot clean with soap and water.

4. Get rid of cat urine odor:
   Mix one part vinegar to three parts water and saturate the spot. Then soak up the excess vinegar water with paper towels. After which sprinkle the spot with baking soda, and using a brush scrub the baking soda into the carpet before allowing it to dry overnight. In the morning you can vacuum it up.

5. Get rid of impossible odors:
   Some odors are just to impossible to remove with home remedies. For these types of odors you might try a product like Simple Solutions cat stain and odor remover. It works well for pet odors as well as other types of stains and odors.
