As soon as you can you need to put an ice pack on your hicky. Your hicky is essentially a bruise on your neck, your lover has sucked on your neck so strongly that they have broken the capillaries or small blood vessels below the surface of your skin. Put some ice in a bag and then wet a wash rag and wring it out good. Place the wet towel on your neck and the ice pack on top of it. The damp cloth or wash rag will keep the ice from being too cold on your neck. Leave on your neck for ten minutes, off for ten, on again for another ten minutes. This will help restrict your blood vessels to keep the bruise from getting any worse.

The next thing you should do is to put some vitamin K or some kind of ointment for getting rid of scars. This will help your blood vessels heal quickly and help your skin clear up redness and blood near the surface. DON'T take asprin! Asprin is a blood thinner and will increase bleeding in broken vessels and make your hicky worse. A better supplement to take would be Feverfew, which helps to strengthen and heal blood vessels.

The next morning repeat the ice pack again and apply more vitamin K ointment. Your hicky should be significantly lighter, if not gone, depending upon how severe it was the night before. Continue this therapy morning and night until the hicky is gone. If it has not faded quickly enough you can conceal your hickies with makeup. If you are a guy, does your mom or sister have some foundation you can borrow? Dab lightly on the hicky to cover up discoloration. Don't over do the make up. Brush lightly with powder to help the makeup stay in place all day.
