Things You'll Need:
- tape
- blue disc
- PS2
-
Step 1
Cut a small amount of tape(about a centimeter). Don't get all fancy with tape. Just use regular clear tape that you'd normally use to wrap presents.
-
Step 2
Put less than half of the cut tape through the disc's hole. Stick that tape that went through to the bottom of the blue disc. This amount of tape that is stuck to the bottom of the playstation disc should not block the bottom of the blue disc. (That's why only a small amount of tape goes through, so your CD will perform well and prevent it from reading the disc.)
-
Step 3
The larger part of the tape that did not go through should be taped to the top part of the CD. Make sure the tape is nice and tight. Avoid air bubbles if possible.
-
Step 4
Look at the inside of the hole and make sure the tape has no bubbles. It has to be a smooth surface on the tape that's inside the hole so that the blue playstation CD will rotate properly. The tape will make the disc's hole smaller.
-
Step 5
Test out the blue disc on the playstation and see if it's still giving you problems. If it still does not work properly, then repeat the process. Add a new piece of tape to the blue cd's hole, but use a new edge. Do not add tape on top of the tape you previously put. It may take up to 3 different tapes to get the right size of hole for the blue disc to work properly.
