If you need to make extra money there is an easy way to make modest supplemental income from your home with little effort. You can purchased used electronics or household items on Craigslist or at yard sales and then resell all items on Craigslist for a markup and profit on the spread. 1. Scan Criagslist in your area for below market priced electronics which are small and can be easily stored away in a small closet or garage. Purchase a few of these items that are particularly priced below market value.

2. Do the same on the weekend at yard sales. Purchase on those items that can be easily stored away which are priced low.

3. Take pictures of all electronics and goods and post ads for each item individually on Craigslist.

4. Your ad should reflect a markup from your purchase price and should provide a means of contacting you. Make it clear that you do not deliver as this will be far less passive for you to make sales.

5. Wait for perspective buyers. They will come if you are patient. It may take a few weeks for a buyer to purchase some of these items because your prices are marked up.

6. Each week make sure to repost your advertisement as Craigslist ads expire every seven days.

7. Eventually you will make sales on your items and collect a profit on each item that you sell. I've found that selling used electronics on Craigslist works the best as these are perfect items for people to sell and buy frequently. They hold fairly decent value and are often compact. Enjoy the extra income when you make sales. It's not enough to live on but you could probably make an extra hundred a month if you really wanted to.

• I never deliver my products; this takes too much of my time and energy for a mere ten or twenty dollar profit. You can make sales faster however if you choose to deliver.
• Make a template for posting your ads so that when you have a new ad all you have to do is embed the picture and change a few descriptive words. This makes posting your ad much easier.
• Always bargain your purchase price with sellers down but never allow buyers to do so with you. You are fine waiting for the sale at full price.
• Purchasing goods too far from home negates some of your profits due to your gas expenditures. Don't drive too far for resell items unless you can resell for a large markup.
• Don't markup your items too much otherwise it will take too long for your items to resell. You want to make a profit but you don't want to wait months for it. Price your items appropriately.
