There are lots of chubby women in America and are not confident over what to wear to make themselves look great. If you are bigger or curvier than normal, it doesn't mean that you cannot be beautiful. In fact, a lot of clothes and designs will flatter chubby women and make you look fabulous. This article talks about how to look great if you are on the heavier side.

  • Color is your best friend for chubby women. Darker colors on a heavier body makes you look a lot smaller than you actually are. Vertical stripes look amazing on you as well, just be careful with the colors that you choose. Even when you are big, you don't have to avoid brighter colors completely. A bright fuchsia tee with a wide black belt at your waist can create the illusion of an hourglass figure and flatter you immensely. Just make sure that tee is not tight fitting and loose at the sleeves to hide away any excess fat on the arms.

  • Deep v-neck can accentuate your fuller bust without it looking trashy. Avoid crewnecks and turtlenecks because they can make your bust and upper body looks unnecessarily large. Another thing about tops that you choose is the actual shape. There are lots of shapes that flatter a heavier upper body. Sleeves that you loose are very good at hiding away your bigger arms giving it a slimmer appearance. Tees that are baby doll shaped can hide your tummy while giving you shape.

  • If you want to wear skirts and you have heavier legs, fear not, there are lots of skirts that are made for chubby women. The safest choice is black because it can make your legs look a lot thinner than it actually is. Choose skirts that at least knee length to cover up the upper thighs. A line skirts are good for you because it can make you look skinner.

  • For pants, it is good to choose a darker color and the style should be boot cut. Boot cut jeans are slight flare that the bottom which makes your legs look longer and darker color make you look leaner. Pants that are very flare at the bottom can make you look bottom heavy, so it is a good idea to avoid those in your wardrobe.
