How to Resell Your Used Books and Magazines

You will learn how to resell your books and magazines at Half Price Books, a popular reselling store. Make extra money, get rid of junk and recycle at the same time!

Instructions

1. Go through your bookshelf and your magazine rack and determine which ones you can do without. Spread everything out on the floor so, that you can gauge the condition of the items.

2. Weed out any magazines that are not the current month. You will get next to nothing (like 5 cents per magazine) if they aren't current. The only exception is if this magazine comes out quarterly.

3. Mark out any identifying information on your periodicals and books. This will prevent people from knowing where you live. Be espeically careful with old college textbooks! You can black out your name with a marker or purchase a special stamp that has different characters designed to camouflage identifying information.

4. Load and up and head to Half Price Books. Once inside the store, you go to a specially marked counter to sell. They will ask for your driver's license and home phone number. You must remain in the store with your items until your name is called. Then, collect your receipt which you exchange for money at the register.
