How to Remove All Cookies Except Certain Proxies
When you visit certain websites, the site may store your personal data by placing a cookie on your computer's hard drive. That way they can track your future visits. In all of the most popular Web browsers, including Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer and Apple Safari, you can manage cookies to protect your computer's security. Each browser allows you to remove all cookies or save certain proxy cookies.

Firefox Instructions

Open Firefox from the Windows desktop Start menu on your PC or by using the Dock icon on your Mac.

Click "Tools" then "Options" from the Firefox menu bar on top, if you are using a PC. If you are using a Mac, choose "Preferences."

Go to the Privacy tab.

Click the "Show Cookies" button in the Cookies section.

Highlight all the cookies that you want to remove. Do not highlight the proxy cookies that you want to keep on your computer.

Click the "Remove Cookie" button to delete the highlighted cookies.

Click "OK" to save the settings.
Internet Explorer Instructions

Open Internet Explorer from the Windows desktop Start menu on your PC or by using the Dock icon on your Mac.

Click "Tools" then "Internet Options" from the Internet Explorer menu bar on top, if you are using a PC.

Go to the "General" tab and click the "Settings" button under the Browsing History section.

Click the "View Files" button to see a list of all cookies currently stored on your computer.

Highlight the cookies that you want to remove and then click "Delete selected items." Any proxy cookies that you did not highlight will not be deleted.
Safari Instructions

Open Safari from the Windows desktop Start menu on your PC or by using the Dock icon on your Mac.

Open the Safari menu on a Mac or the Edit menu on a PC and choose "Preferences."

Go to the Security tab.

Click the "Show Cookies" button to bring up a list of all cookies currently on your computer.

Highlight the cookies that you want to remove and click "Remove." Any proxy cookies not selected will not be removed.
