Luaus are perfect for summer parties. The tropical theme allows guests to enjoy the warm weather outdoors or at a beach. If you have been invited to a luau, you can create an outfit easily. Women's luau outfits usually include grass skirts and leis. Coconut bras or bikini tops can be worn to create a tropical island vibe.       Choose a two-piece bikini. The best option is to wear a bathing suit with a floral print and bright colors.

      Wear the grass skirt over the swimsuit. Grass skirts can be purchased from a costume shop and many of them are very inexpensive.

      Place a floral lei around your neck. You can wear just one or several. Novelty stores have plastic ones, but for a classy party, you can have a florist make one with fresh flowers.

      Use bobby pins to secure a large flower on the side of your hair just above your ear.
