How to Install Microsoft Office Word 2003

The Microsoft Word application is included with the Microsoft Office 2003 suite, which is compatible with PC computers running Windows XP or later. In order to install the word processing program, you must have the Office 2003 installation CD and be an administrator on your computer. After installing Word 2003, the program will appear in the "All Programs" list in the "Start" menu.

      Log on to your PC computer with an administrator account.

      Insert the Microsoft Office 2003 installation CD into your computer's disk drive. When the disk is read, the installation program will automatically launch and begin transferring necessary installation files to your hard drive.

      Enter your username, initials and organization's name and click "Next."

      Choose the "Custom Install" option at the next screen and click "Next" again.
