Windows XP comes with a desktop sharing application that is used to interact with other computers remotely. It's used with applications like NetMeeting so users can create presentations for display over the Internet. Remote Desktop also has a component where users can remotely control other computers on the network. Before dekstop sharing is enabled, a few steps must be configured in the XP Firewall application.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Double-click the "Windows Firewall" icon.
