Things You'll Need:
- 1 package (10 oz.) refrigerated pizza dough
- 3/4 lb. of hamburger (turkey burger can be substituted)
- 1/2 cup of chopped onions
- 1 packet of Taco Bell taco seasoning
- 1 cup of Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 2 medium plum tomatoes sliced thin or 1 cup of chopped tomatoes
-
Step 1
Taco pizza is a great way to combine to favorite dishes in one. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Step 2
Lightly spray a 12 inch pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray. Take your pizza dough and roll it out on your pan.
-
Step 3
Build the sides of your crust up. Using a fork, prick the dough generously. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
-
Step 4
While your crust is baking, brown your burger and onions in a skillet. Drain the grease from your burger.
-
Step 5
Return the burger to the skillet and add 1 cup of water and taco seasoning packet. Simmer until most of the water is absorbed.
-
Step 6
When crust is ready, carefully remove from oven and spread your taco meat over the warm crust.
-
Step 7
Add a layer of Kraft Shredded Cheddar cheese.
-
Step 8
Build your pizza with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, jalapeno peppers, salsa, sour cream, etc. Whatever you like on your tacos is what you put on your pizza.
