How to Add Twitter to your Website or Blog

Here's is how to share your latest tweets from Twitter on your blog or profile page (MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, Typepad and other websites). You can display all of your Twitter updates with a customized widget (aka, "Twitter badge").

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Computer
• Internet
• Twitter Account
• Blog or Web page (MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, Typepad or "other")

1. 

   Open your Twitter page and scroll down to the menu at the bottom of the page. Then click on the word "Help" near on your right hand side of the menu and the "Help page" will open.

2. Next, near the bottom of the "Help page", scroll down to the words "Can I put my Twitter updates on my blog? Yep! Put a Twitter badge on your blog, website, MySpace..."
   
   Then click on the hyperlinked words "Twitter badge" in the first sentence of the answer.

3. Using the menu on the right hand side of the page, search for the web page or blog you would like to place your "Twitter badge" on. If you do not see your web page or blog click on the word "Other", then press "continue at the bottom of the page.

4. 

   If you clicked on MySpace, you must first choose the type of widget you want (interactive or display only and press continue. Then for MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, Typepad or "Other" you can follow the final steps by either copying and pasting the html provided or clicking on the button provided to install Twitter to your website or blog.

Tips & Warnings

• To "cut and paste" html, use your mouse or pointer to "highlight" the words you want to copy (hold down left click button and scroll across words). Then right click on your highlighted words and select the word "copy" on the drop down menu. Finally, paste html to the profile page or the blog you choose.
