on 11/25/2008 Admittedly, Ultimate forehands require a unique throwing stance and angle, because one has to constantly make throws around a defender right in one's face!:-) However, since this article is for the "flying disc" forehand, I'd suggest any student to check out the "Heave H.O.E." DVD,-Basic Instructions for All Flying Disc Students ( http://motodom.com ) for learning even more solid do's (and don'ts!) on forehand throws. Especially if your goal is to throw a Frisbee forehand straight and far. Peace!

on 8/8/2006 If you want to throw it high and accurate, follow through across your chest. This also helps the Frisbee fly farther when you are pulling in Ultimate Frisbee.

on 8/8/2006 Instead of putting your hand out like a hand shake, try making a gun with two fingers being the barrel of the gun and your thumb being the aim. Then grip the disc as said above.
