Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 fully cooked breakfast sausage
  • pancake mix
  • maple syrup
  • powdered sugar
  • toothpicks
  • hungry kids or family
  1. Step 1

Prepare your pancakes according to the directions on the box. Add just a little more water than the box says so that your pancakes will be easier to roll after being cooked. Once cooked set aside until the sausages are cooked.

  2. Step 2

Cook the breakfast sausages according to package instructions. Then take each cooked breakfast sausage and lay it on the pancake and then wrap the pancake around the sausage and secure it with a toothpick. It will look like a burrito.

  3. Step 3

Sprinkle each little piggy in a blanket with powdered sugar and serve along with some maple syrup for dipping.

Tips & Warnings
  • Warming the maple syrup just a little keeps the food from getting cold
  • Serve these alone or with your favorite egg dish
