How to Use Soulseek
Soulseek is a free-to-download file-sharing program developed by Soulseek, LLC. The application earned its name early on in development due to a planned feature to connect people with similar tastes in music; the feature was dropped but the name stuck. The program is a basic peer-to-peer file-sharing application that can be used to download a variety of media. Piracy of music is a problem on Soulseek, but many legal files are available and some artists chose to release their albums directly through the Soulseek label. Soulseek features a basic, easily navigable graphic interface that makes searches quick and easy.
