You're planning a real Hawaiian luau, and you want your decorations to be perfect! Here are some cute big and small centerpiece ideas.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    If you have multiple tables: Halve a coconut or pineapple, stick paper parasols around the edge until it is completely surrounded. Put flowers around if desired.

  2. Step 2

    Buy plastic dolphins or fish from a toy store, get a tray or container, put in a piece of foam, stick dolphins into foam to look like they are "leaping". Surround by shredded blue tissue paper.

  3. Step 3

    Fill a pretty, large bowl with water, (you can dye blue with a few drops of food coloring). Halve four coconuts. Make sails with bamboo skewers and triangles cut out of colored card stock. Float the "boats" in the water, along with floating candles and flowers.

  4. Step 4

    dress a cute stuffed animal (a bear or pig is cute). in a lae, grass skirt, and coconut bra.

  5. Step 5

    use a hot glue gun to attatch sand dollars purchased at a craft or hobby store around the edge of a plain white dinner plate. Add a small layer of sand. Place one or more pillar candles in the middle.
