How to Change Ring Tones
Ring tones are the music files that play whenever your cell phone receives a call. Each cell phone comes with a standard ring tone. Your phone will also come with several other ring tone files. If you prefer one of the other files on your phone, you may wish to change the set ring tone on your cell phone. Changing ring tones is something that is done directly on your cell phone and shouldn't take you more than one minute to accomplish.

Scroll to the main menu screen of your cell phone.

Find the "Music," "Tones" or "Ringtones" option. When you find the appropriate option, highlight it and then click "OK."

Select "My Ringtones" or "My Tones" and then click "OK." This will take you to a list of the ring tone audio files on your particular cell phone.

Highlight the ringtone of your choice. Then, click the "Set As" button on your cell phone. You will be taken to a new page on the phone.

Choose "Ringtone" and then click "OK." The ring tone on your cell phone will then be changed.

Additional ringtone files can be purchased from your wireless provider. Depending on which cell phone you own, this can be done either using your phone or by going on the official website of your cell phone service provider. You can also use websites such as Myxer in order download ringtones to your cell phone.
