How to Enable a Proxy Server
Enabling a proxy server in your web browser allows you to use another server to surf the web. Corporations use proxy servers to filter web traffic, monitor usage, and protect the internal computers from attack websites. By filtering inappropriate websites, it limits the possibility of viruses installed on the computer from outside sources. Enabling a proxy server on Internet Explorer and Firefox only requires a few steps.
